Nov. 28 — First Baptist Church’s Thanksgiving Day Lunch. The annual free meal will be served in the fellowship hall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 321 E. Center St. Delivered meals can be ordered by calling (575) 461-2724 before Nov. 26.
Nov. 30 — Christmas Light Parade. The Tucumcari/Quay County Chamber of Commerce is organizing this annual event that begins at 6 p.m., with a Christmas depot at 7 p.m. with a visit by Santa Clause. The parade route will be along Route 66, then north on Second Street to the Tucumcari Historic Railroad Plaza. For information, email [email protected] or call (575) 461-1694.
Dec. 7 — 12th annual Christmas Expo. The event at the Tucumcari Convention Center will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with a visit from Santa Claus from 1 to 3 p.m. and a canned food drive by Ministry of Hope.
Dec. 14 — Mariachi Christmas. The Tucumcari Zia Club is presenting free performances by Dance Divas and Mariachi Euphoria at the Tucumcari High School auditorium. Doors open at 12:30 p.m., with the performances at 1.
