Early voting begins

Voters fill their ballots in front of the Quay County Clerk's Office in Tucumcari during the first day of early voting on Oct. 8. Clerk Ellen White said 386 county residents voted during the first week of early voting, plus 284 absentee voters. Early voting will continue at the office on Monday through Thursday through October and on Nov. 1-2 before Election Day on Nov. 5.
