Friday through Sunday — Tucumcari Rawhide Days. The event at the Quay County Fairgrounds will feature a free biscuits-and-gravy breakfast, youth ranch rodeo, junior livestock show, barrel racing, arts and crafts show, live music and historical presentations. Most of the festivities will be centered around the Tucumcari Historical Museum or the Quay County Fairgrounds rodeo arena.
July 4 — Tucumcari Fourth of July Parade. The Tucumcari/Quay County Chamber of Commerce is organizing this event, set for 10 a.m. on Route 66 from Lake Street to the Tucumcari Convention Center. The annual fireworks display over the Elks Lodge will be at dusk.
July 6 — Red, White and Ute. The Ute Lake Fourth of July Celebration in Logan includes a parade at 10 a.m. on village streets and fireworks at dusk. The event also is selling raffle tickets that include a $10,000 prize or a Yamaha UMAX Rally golf cart valued at $14,495.
July 27 — St. Anne’s Fiesta. The annual event by the St. Anne’s Catholic Church will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the St. Anne’s school and Hammond Hall with games, music, food, fiesta baskets and a raffle ticket drawing. Aug. 1-4 — Rattler Reunion. This annual event will include a parade, picnics and the Saturday night banquet. For more information, go to rattlerreunion.com.
