Saturday — Doc Powers Memorial Car and Motorcycle Show. This free, family-friendly event will be hosted by the Tucumcari Elks Lodge 1172 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration of cars will begin at 10 a.m. with a $25 fee per vehicle, including a free lunch. A prize raffle will occur every 30 minutes. It includes hot food, snow cones and music by the Junction 432 Band. For more information, email [email protected] or call (719) 217-8544.
Saturday — Tucumcari Rotary Club Lobster Dinner & Dance. This event at the Tucumcari Elks Lodge from 6:30 to 10 p.m. serves as a scholarship fundraiser. It will feature a lobster drop raffle and music by Limited Edition. The $35 tickets can be purchased at the Tucumcari/Quay County Chamber of Commerce or bought online at go.rallyup.com/tucrotarylobsterdance.
Saturday — Helping Hands Hospice Summer Festival. This event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 624 S. Second St. will feature kids games, a bounce house, food, prizes, local vendors, music, cornhole tournament and a blood drive. It includes a $5,000 reverse raffle drawing. June 14-16 — Tucumcari Rawhide Days. The event at the Quay County Fairgrounds will feature a gun show, junior ranch rodeo, junior livestock show and other western competitions and attractions. More details will be announced later.
July 27 — St. Anne’s Fiesta. The annual event by the St. Anne’s Catholic Church will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the St. Anne’s school and Hammond Hall with games, music, food, fiesta baskets and a raffle ticket drawing. Aug. 1-4 — Rattler Reunion. This annual event will include a parade, picnics and the Saturday night banquet. For more information, go to rattlerreunion.com.
