Obituary: Mary Crespin

Mary Crespin peacefully passed away November 17, 2023 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born October 6, 1933 in Santa Rosa, NM. Later she moved to Tucumcari, NM where she met and married Max Crespin. She lived most of her life in Tucumcari where she had a fulfilling life and a member of St Anne’s Catholic Church. After Max passed she moved to Albuquerque to be close to her sons and family. She enjoyed camping and spending time with family. Her favorite passed time was bingo and the casino.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Max, mother and father Tana and Leandro Garcia, brothers Joe and Jessie Garcia.

She is survived by her sons Steve and his wife Karen of Albuquerque, Dennis and his wife Sherry of Albuquerque, grandson Reed of Albuquerque, brothers Louie of Alabama, Art and his wife Joyce of Albuquerque, sister Jennie and her husband Ernie Casaus of Albuquerque sister in-laws Lorraine Garcia of Colorado and Anna Mae Garcia of Albuquerque along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A special thanks to Patty, Ash, Lyn and the staff at Everest Assisted Living. We are so grateful for the loving care and compassion they showed to our mother during her stay and as she reached the end. Also, Doctor Joy Lovette and Kristen Metz, RN of Hospice de la Luz. They are all true professionals. We cannot be more thankful for the care they provided. We are also very thankful to Reverend Charles of Risen Savior Catholic Church who prepared our mother for her journey.

Pallbearers will be Reed Crespin, Phil Garcia, Arron Garcia, Carlos Cordova, Rudy Herrera and Anthony Madrid.

Services will take place on November 28th 2023 in Tucumcari, New Mexico at St. Anne’s Catholic Church 306 W. High St.

Rosary will take be heard at 9:00 AM Funeral Mass at 10:00 followed by internment at Tucumcari Memorial Cemetery.
