The Logan softball team went 2-3 last week after dropping a district doubleheader at home on Friday against Pecos.
The Lady Longhorns lost the first game 15-5 and fell in the nightcap by a 20-10 score.
In the first game, Broke Smith went 2-for-3 with a double, a triple and two RBI for Logan. Pitcher Charli Fuller struck out five and as a hitter reached base twice, stole three bases and scored twice. Marilyn Moreno went 2-for-3 with a double and three stolen baes.
In the second game, Smith went 3-for-4 with two runs scored.
Logan fell to 4-9 overall and 0-5 in district play.
Pecos improved to 4-4, 3-1.

Logan 22, San Jon 7
The Lady Longhorns swept a district doubleheader Thursday against visiting San Jon by scores of 15-5 and 22-7.
In the first game, Logan pitcher Fuller struck out seven batters. She also reached base three times, stole six bases and scored twice. Aubrey Reed went 1-for-2 with a walk and a triple.
In the second game, Logan hurler Presley Griffitt fanned three batters and helped her cause by hitting a double and scoring three runs.
San Jon, a first-year program, fell to 0-6 overall.
Santa Rosa 26, Logan 4
Santa Rosa cruised to a 26-4 district victory last Monday at host Logan in a game shortened to three innings by the mercy rule.
Logan (2-7, 0-3) trailed only 4-2 after the first inning, but Santa Rosa tallied nine runs in the second inning and 13 in the third.
Moreno went 1-for-1 at the plate with a walk, a single, an RBI and a stolen base for Logan. Griffitt sent 2-for-2 with an RBI and a stolen base.
Danae Esquibel totaled three hits — including two doubles — drove in seven runs for the Lady Lions.
Santa Rosa (10-4, 4-0) totaled 15 hits and 11 walks.
