Serving the High Plains
A total of 56 4-H members from more than a dozen New Mexico counties, including Quay County, participated on July 29-30 in the Quay County 4-H Rodeo at the Quay County Fairgrounds in Tucumcari.
Prizes, provided through donations from Quay County businesses, ranged from saddles for the overall top winners, All-Around buckles for the runners-up, and buckles for event winners in each age division.
Points earned qualify participants for the state rodeo finals in September.
