• Wednesday — Free concert. National Park Radio, an indie-folk, husband-and-wife power duo from the Ozark Mountains, will play a show at the Tucumcari Railroad Plaza at 6 p.m. 100 W. Railroad Ave., Tucumcari.
• Friday, Saturday and Oct. 22-23 — Mayhem, Mystery and Murder — Main Street Haunted Walking Tours. The Tucumcari ghost tour will meet at 6 p.m. at the Tucumcari Railroad Depot, where your guide will take you on a twilight stroll of the city’s historic district. Listen to stories of mysterious fires, murders and ghosts as you stroll the dark streets. The tour will last about 1 1/2 hours and will end at the departure point. Limited to 15 participants nightly. $20 per ticket. Begins at 100 W. Railroad Ave.
• Saturday — Harvest Fest 2021. This event from 10 a.m. to noon by the Table Top Cooperative closes out the Tucumcari Farmers Market season. It will include food trucks and other fun activities that will be announced later. Wailes Park, 1600 E. Tucumcari Blvd., Tucumcari.
• Oct. 23 — 44th annual Boo Bash. The Altrusa International of Tucumcari’s fundraiser will be broadcast live on Facebook at 3 p.m., with a top prize of $15,000 in cash. Ticket sales benefit Altrusa community projects. Tickets, which cost $100, are available from Altrusa members, messaging the club at facebook.com/AltrusaofTucumcari or contacting ticket chairwoman Sylvia Wampler at (575) 403-8405.
• Oct. 23-24 — Shootout at Six Shooter Siding. This three-round tournament at Robert Lumpkin Memorial Disc Golf Course at Five Mile Park in Tucumcari is sanctioned by the Professional Disc Golf Association. Round 1 begins at 9 a.m. Friday, with a doubles event that afternoon. The event contains open, advanced, intermediate, recreational and juniors divisions, with an optional ace pot. • Oct. 30 — TucumSCARY. The event will start at the First Baptist Church’s Trunk-or-Treat from 4 to 6 p.m.. Next, the Tucumcari Historical Museum will present the Pumpkin Crawl and judging of decorated pumpkins. Then, a guide/map will be handed out at the Tucumcari Train Depot to follow for a drive-by trick-or-treat route through town. Participating businesses can decorate their storefronts and hand out curbside treats as they drive by. Anyone is welcome to put up a tent to hand out treats along the route as well. • Dec. 11 — Ninth annual Christmas Expo. This event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Tucumcari Convention Center includes a canned food drive for the Ministry of Hope. The expo still is looking for vendors; anyone interested should email Stormy Sena at [email protected]. The fee is $30 for each space.
