The Logan baseball team stormed to an 8-0 lead after five innings, then added nine runs in the final frame en route to a 20-5 victory on May 24 over Dora.
The Longhorns banged out 18 hits. Wyatt Wright went 3-for-5, including a triple, with four RBI. Kaden Stone and Garrett Bollinger each drove in three runs.
Four Logan pitchers combined to allow seven hits and struck out six in seven innings.
Dora fell to 0-7 overall.
Logan ended the week with an 8-0 record overall.
Texico rainout
Logan’s scheduled game against Texico, a replacement for an Elida game that was canceled, was rained out Friday evening after three innings.
Elida forfeits
Logan earned a forfeit victory Friday when Elida canceled the game two days earlier because of a lack of players.
