Court to conduct business remotely

Tucumcari Municipal Court announced it would be conducting business remotely starting Nov. 30 until further notice.

The court’s hours will be the same, from 7:30 to noon and from 1 to 4:30 p.m. All arraignments and trials will be handled via Go to Meeting as it has since March.

All payments can be mailed to Municipal Court, P.O. Box 1188, Tucumcari, NM 88401. Payments also can be made by putting a money order in an envelope with the name and “Municipal Court” written on it and dropped in the drop box on the east end of City Hall. A receipt will be mailed to the address on file.

The contact number for Municipal Court is 575-403-6318, and it will be answered during regular business hours. Clients should keep in mind that Mondays and Wednesdays are trial days, and phones are not answered while in court. Callers should leave a message with a call-back number.
