Serving the High Plains
The Tucumcari Senior Center and Logan Senior Center remain closed to the public indefinitely but will deliver meals to those who qualify. Those interested in meal deliveries should call the Tucumcari facility at 461-2307 and the Logan facility at 487-2287 for more information. Some area schools will use a hybrid model of online and in-person teaching for elementary grades.
Tucumcari Senior Center
Wednesday — Hawaiian pork, green beans, whole-wheat bread, vanilla pudding.
Thursday — Pepper steak, baked potato with margarine, California vegetables, roll, peach cobbler.
Friday — Turkey breast, pasta with Alfredo, spinach with margarine, breadstick with margarine, orange.
Monday — Pork stir fry, stir fry vegetables, salad and dressing, whole-wheat roll and margarine, Jell-O.
Tuesday — Italian chicken, broccoli salad, carrots, cheesy Italian read, peach pound cake.
Logan Senior Center
Wednesday — Turkey bacon wrap, sliced vegetables, macaroni salad, plums.
Thursday — Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, California vegetables, biscuit, strawberries and bananas.
Friday — Italian chicken, broccoli salad, carrots, cheesy Italian bread, peach pound cake.
Monday — Cornflake chicken, scalloped potatoes, Brussels sprouts, cornbread, tropical fruit.
Tuesday — Meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, carrot raisin salad, whole-wheat roll with margarine, tapioca pudding with strawberries.
Logan schools
Wednesday — No school.
Thursday — No school.
Friday — No school.
Monday — Breakfast: Muffins, cereal cups, milk, juice; Lunch: Pulled pork, potato salad, baked beans, salad, fruit, milk or grab-and-go meal.
Tuesday — Breakfast: Eggo minis, cereal cups, milk, juice; Lunch: Spaghetti with or without meat, breadsticks with sauce, cold veggies, salad, fruit, milk or or grab-and-go meal.
