Quay County schools will be closed through the rest of the school year because of the coronavirus pandemic. For information on children’s meals provided at each school, go to newmexico.gov/education. The Tucumcari Senior Center and Logan Senior Center also will be closed to the public indefinitely but will deliver meals to those who qualify. Those interested in meal deliveries should call the Tucumcari facility at 461-2307 and the Logan facility at 487-2287 for more information.
Tucumcari Senior Center
Wednesday — Beef stew, cabbage, cornbread, fruit.
Thursday — Pork asada, buttered new potatoes, hominy, crackers, peanut butter cookie.
Friday — Chicken strips, mashed potatoes and gravy, honey mustard sauce, green beans, whole-wheat roll with margarine, Jell-O with fruit.
Monday — Green-chile chicken enchilada, pinto beans, squash, crackers, cottage cheese, pears.
Tuesday — Spaghetti and sauce, spinach, garlic bread, peach cobbler.
Legion Senior Center
Wednesday — Egg salad sandwich with two slices bread, garden salad with dressing, carrot and cheese sticks, peanut butter cookie.
Thursday — Open-face turkey sandwich, baked sweet potatoes, broccoli with cheese sauce, cranberry sauce, gelatin.
Friday — Chili dog, butter spinach, parsley potatoes, peach shortcake.
Monday — Tamale, garden salad with dressing, pinto beans, flour tortilla, orange.
Tuesday — Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, whole-wheat roll with margarine, cobbler.
