Quay County schools will be closed through the rest of the school year because of the coronavirus pandemic. For information on children’s meals provided at each school, go to newmexico.gov/education. The Tucumcari Senior Center and Logan Senior Center also will be closed to the public indefinitely but will deliver meals to those who qualify. Those interested in meal deliveries should call the Tucumcari facility at 461-2307 and the Logan facility at 487-2287 for more information.
Tucumcari Senior Center
Wednesday — Chicken and dumplings, carrots, green beans, fruit.
Thursday — Beef stir fry, white rice, stir fry vegetables, whole-wheat bread, fruit.
Friday — Beans and ham, peas and carrots, cornbread with margarine, Jell-O with fruit.
Monday — Chalupa with onions, green chile and salsa, Spanish rice, green beans, banana.
Tuesday — Chicken and dumplings, green beans, carrots, sugar cookie.
Logan Senior Center
Wednesday — Chicken salad, cheese and carrot sticks, sliced tomatoes, crackers, banana.
Thursday — Meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, salad with dressing, pear cobbler.
Friday — Green chile chicken enchiladas with lettuce and tomato, pinto beans, Spanish rice, strawberries, ice cream.
Monday — Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, whole-wheat roll with margarine, cobbler.
Tuesday — Chicken taco, refried beans, calabacitas, grapes.
