Quay County schools will be closed through the rest of the school year because of the coronavirus pandemic. For information on children’s meals provided at each school, go to newmexico.gov/education. The Tucumcari Senior Center and Logan Senior Center also will be closed to the public indefinitely but will deliver meals to those who qualify. Those interested in meal deliveries should call the Tucumcari facility at 461-2307 and the Logan facility at 487-2287 for more information.
Tucumcari Senior Center
Wednesday — Pork butt roast, blackeyed peas, tomatoes with green chile, cornbread with margarine, fruit.
Thursday — Trailblazer, California vegetables, ranch beans, whole-wheat bread, cake.
Friday — Chicken pot pie, green beans with onion, beets, fruit.
Monday — Shepherd’s pie, spinach, dinner roll with margarine, vanilla ice cream.
Tuesday — Carne adovada, Spanish rice, country blend vegetables, flour tortilla, Jell-O with fruit.
Logan Senior Center
Wednesday — Chicken wrap (with chicken, cheese, ranch dressing, tortilla), lettuce and tomato, cucumber salad, apple.
Thursday — Beef tips, egg noodles, salad with dressing, peas and carrots, pears, oatmeal cookie.
Friday — Chicken nuggets with honey mustard or barbecue sauce, potato wedges, cauliflower with cheese sauce, fruit.
Monday — Glazed ham, sweet potato, spinach, cornbread with margarine, pineapple chunks.
Tuesday — Spaghetti with meat sauce, Brussels sprouts, garlic bread, chocolate cake with frosting.
