Quay County schools will be closed through the rest of the school year because of the coronavirus pandemic. For information on children’s meals provided at each school, go to newmexico.gov/education.
The Tucumcari Senior Center and Logan Senior Center also will be closed to the public indefinitely but will deliver meals to those who qualify. Those interested in meal deliveries should call the Tucumcari facility at 461-2307 and the Logan facility at 487-2287 for more information.
Tucumcari Senior Center
Wednesday — Baked pork chop, stuffing, carrots, cottage cheese, fruit.
Thursday — Chicken nuggets, potato wedges, broccoli with cheese, fruit.
Friday — Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, spinach, whole-wheat roll with margarine, fruit.
Monday — Stuffed bell pepper, tossed salad with dressing, carrots, whole-wheat bread, fruit.
Tuesday — Green chile chicken enchilada, pinto beans, calabacitas, crackers, Jell-O.
Logan Senior Center
Wednesday — Tuna salad sandwich, two slices of whole-wheat bread, cucumber salad, graham crackers, orange.
Thursday — Pork loin, blackeyed peas, mixed vegetables, cornbread, peach cobbler.
Friday — Taco, pinto beans, calabacitas, Jell-O with fruit.
Monday — Pork ribs, corn, broccoli, whole-wheat bread with margarine, cherry cobbler.
Tuesday — Beef enchiladas with lettuce, tomato, onions, jalapeno and salsa, pinto beans, crackers, chocolate pudding.
