Eugene and Judy Ross of Tucumcari will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday.
The couple was married Dec. 20, 1969, in San Jon.
He is retired law enforcement and teaches silversmithing at Mesalands Community College. She worked in home education and is a truck weighmaster.
The couple has two children.
A celebration will be planned for the 51st anniversary when the couple has time to plan an event.
