Logan student 7th in contest

Jason Knight, a member of the FFA club in Logan, recently finished seventh of more than 600 entries in the national land-judging contest in Oklahoma City.

Knight and his teammates — Robert Stringfellow, Amber Rivera and Keni McWright — in April earned first place in land-judging contest at the FFA Career Development Events state contest in Las Cruces.

Logan’s horse-evaluation team also advanced to nationals at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis in October.
