Logan clinic gets new addition

Nurse practitioner Katherine Henry recently joined the care team at the Presbyterian Logan Medical Clinic in Logan.

With the addition of Henry, nurse practitioner La Juana Dell Willis, who has provided care at the Logan clinic since 2013, will move to working on an as-needed basis.

Henry has worked as a family nurse practitioner for 17 years, with experience in pediatrics, primary care and geriatrics, including caring for adults with chronic health issues. She also is experienced in prenatal care, gynecology and urgent care. Most recently, she worked at the Hereford Health Clinic and the City of Amarillo Health Clinic, both in Texas, and held several roles at clinics in the Northwest Texas Healthcare System.

Henry received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas. She received her master’s degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock.

The clinic, which is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, is at 600 Gallegos St. in Logan. Appointments are available by calling (575) 487-9000.
