The Logan girls basketball team started its district schedule with a bang Saturday, taking a 26-2 led in the first quarter en route to a 74-18 romp over Clovis Christian.
Harlie Roach scored 25 points to lead the Lady Longhorns. Karli Webb and Kassi Foote each scored 11.
Logan, ranked No. 1 in Class 1A by MaxPreps.com, improved to 15-2 overall.
Clovis Christian fell to 4-8 overall and 0-2 in district.
Logan 69, Dora 33
Logan jumped to a 43-19 lead by intermission and romped to a 69-33 victory Thursday over visiting Dora.
Webb scored 19 points to power the Lady Longhorns, while Jordan Hines added 14.
Dora fell to 8-6.
Roy/Mosquero 45, Grady 31
Visiting Roy/Mosquero grabbed a 26-16 lead by intermission and made it stand up with a 45-31 win Thursday over Grady at San Jon.
The Lady Bronchos fell to 2-12. The Longhorns improved to 8-2.
Gateway Christian 38, Grady 34
Host Gateway Christian edged the Grady girls basketball team 38-34 during a nip-and-tuck battle Jan. 15.
The Warriors improved to 8-3 overall.
