Saturday — Christmas Expo. Celebrate the holidays at this seventh annual event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from 5 to 7 p.m. after the Parade of Lights. If you're around from 1 to 3 p.m., you might spot Santa. Tucumcari Convention Center.
Dec. 8 — Welcome Home Veterans / Pearl Harbor Day. The event will honor all veterans from World War II to the global war on terrorism and their families with a meal at noon. The guest speaker will be guest Brig. Gen. Miguel Aguilar. VFW Post 2528 and Auxiliary, 105 E. Main St., Tucumcari.
Dec. 14 — Christmas Cantata. The annual Christmas event will be at 7 p.m. at the Center Street United Methodist Church. Admission is free, and a reception will follow. Please bring your family to enjoy the music and atmosphere of the season. Center Street United Methodist Church, 406 E. Center St., Tucumcari.
Dec. 16 — Christmas Dinner and Dance. Join the Knights of Columbus Council 6937 for its Christmas Raffle Dinner & Dance. Only 300 tickets will be sold, with the Grand Prize winner taking home $5,000. Even if you don't win, you still get a night of dinner and dancing. Dinner begins at 6 p.m. Ticket price is $100 for two people, with dinner and dance included. Tickets can be purchased from any Knights of Columbus member. You need not be present to win. Tucumcari Convention Center.
