1968: The Logan School Board passed a resolution calling for a bond election Dec. 10 to finance a new high-school building. Chosen plans call for a high-school building continuing north from the present grade school and gymnasium, starting at the gym’s north edge.
• Mystery Shopper Days arrived in Tucumcari this morning. The contest offers $5 cash prizes for customers and store clerks alike if they can pick out the mystery shopper in participating merchants’ stores.
• White’s Store at 116 W. Center St. in Tucumcari, advertising the “best selection of Spanish records in town,” offered some Christmas albums for 63 cents apiece.
