Both varsity teams face Penasco Panthers Friday at away game.
The Tucumcari Rattlers and Lady Rattlers varsity squads chalked up nothing but victories in games played Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
On Thursday, the Rattler boys beat the Dexter Demons 71-55.
On Friday evening, they trounced the Raton Tigers by 40 points in a home game. The final score: 53-13.
On Saturday, the Rattlers won another decisive victory, 68-38, over the Native American Community Academy (NACA) Eagles in Albuquerque.
The victories leave the Rattlers with a record of four wins and three losses for the season.
Meanwhile the Lady Rattlers won decisively Thursday against Dexter, 63-37, and Saturday against the NACA Lady Eagles, 67-22.
The Rattlers and Lady Rattlers play next on Friday at Penasco against the Penasco Panthers.
Logan
Logan's Lady Longhorns brought home three victories this week.
On Thursday, they beat the Lady Lions of Santa Rosa 68-42
On Friday, they scored a decisive 60-33 victory over the Lady Tigers of Raton.
On Saturday, the edged the Clayton Lady Yellowjackets 49-47
The Longhorns, meanwhile, scored two losses and a win.
The win occurred Saturday against the Cimarron Rams, 53-34
On Thursday, the Longhorns lost to the Santa Rosa Lions 68-58.
On Friday, the Longhorns were beaten by the Moriarty Pintos, 57-38.
The Longhorns and Lady Longhorns travel to Springer, on Dec. 30 to play the Red Devils.
San Jon
The San Jon Coyotes won games on Thursday and Saturday.
On Thursday they beat Roy/Mosquero 68-44, and on Saturday they were victorious over the Des Moines Demons 79-71.
The Lady Coyotes, however lost in their outings against the same schools.
On Thursday they lost 44-20 to Roy/Mosquero, and on Saturday they lost 56-25 against the Demoines Lady Demons.
The Coyotes and Lady Coyotes return to Des Moines Dec. 30.
House/Fort Sumner
The House/Fort Sumer boys were defeated in contests against the Melrose Buffaloes on Thursday and the Santa Rosa Lions on Saturday.
They lost 60-51 to the Buffaloes and 52-45 to the Lions.
The House/Fort Sumner girls' basketball team lost 56-44 to the Melrose Lady Buffaloes on Thursday and beat the Santa Rosa Lady Lions 61-45 on Saturday.
The House/Fort Sumner boys take on Texico on Jan. 9.
The girls will take on an unnamed opponent in the Eastern Plains Athletic Conference (EPAC) tournament on Jan. 3 in Texico.
