Meetings watch - Quay County Commission

The following were actions taken at by Quay County commissioners Monday at their regular meeting:

• Approved Forrest EMS’ receipt of an ambulance from the city of Clovis EMS services.

Quay County Fire Marshall Donald Adams said the ambulance is in good shape and will benefit the Forrest fire district.

• Approved six resolutions for the following increases in funding: $40,000 to the juvenile detention fund; $57,000 to the forestry fire funds; $7,300 to the Victor C. Breen Memorial fund; $440,000 to the general fund; $440,000 to the County Improvement Fund; $8,200 to the emergency management fund

• Approved the Summit Food Services Agreement amendment

• Approved the Quay County treasurer’s and sheriff’s report

• Held an executive session for pending or threatened litigation

No action was taken.
