The following is a sampling of calls received by the central dispatch office for Quay County based at the Tucumcari Police Department.

Friday

  • At 12:22 a.m., a woman reported a burglary in progress at a residence on the 1200 block of East Heman Avenue. An officer advised that an inventory of what was stolen was taken and patrols were increased in the area.
  • At 7:40 a.m., an officer advised of a broken door at a building on the 2000 block of West Route 66.
  • At 1:47 p.m., a man was arrested for a warrant at the recreation center on the 900 block of East Laughlin. The man was taken to the Quay County Detention Center.
  • At 3:28 p.m., a woman reported harassment at a residence on the 1700 block of South Ninth Street.
  • At 6:08 p.m., a man reported shots fired on the 1600 block of South Adams. An officer advised that all was OK.
  • At 10:03 p.m., a man reported a theft from a fuel station on the 2600 block of South First Street.

Saturday

  • At 12:58 a.m., a man reported a prowler on the corner of South Eighth Street and East Amarosa Avenue. An officer advised that all was OK.
  • At 1:19 a.m., a woman reported a domestic dispute at a residence on the 900 block of South Monroe Street.
  • At 9:44 a.m., an alarm was reported at a bank on the 200 block of East Main Street. An officer advised all was OK, was due to the power outage.
  • At 10:27 a.m., a woman reported an unwanted man at a residence on the 1400 block of East Rankin Avenue.
  • At 11:17 a.m., an alarm was reported at the college on the 900 block of South Tenth Street. An officer advised that all was OK.
  • At 2:04 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on the 100 block of Marina Lane. A man was arrested for driving while intoxicated and taken to the QCDC.
  • At 4:48 p.m., a man reported a theft at a residence on the 1700 block of South Second Street.
  • At 5:01 p.m., a woman reported harassment at a residence on the 1100 block of South Jackson Street.
  • At 5:06 p.m., an alarm was reported at a residence on the 600 block of East Smith Avenue. An officer advised all was OK.
  • At 5:32 p.m., an alarm was reported at a bank on the 100 block of East Route 66. An officer advised that all was OK.
  • At 7:05 p.m., a man was arrested for a warrant on the 400 block of South Fourth Street and taken to the QCDC.
  • At 8:07 p.m., a man reported threats at a residence on the 300 block of East Laughlin Avenue.

Sunday

  • At 12:13 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on the corner of South First Street and Robinson Avenue. A man was arrested for driving on a revoked license and was taken to the QCDC.
  • At 12:20 a.m., a woman reported vandalism of a vehicle on the 300 block of East Smith Avenue.
  • At 4:16 a.m., a woman reported a prowler on the 300 block of South Jackson Street. An officer advised all was OK.
  • At 10:16 a.m., a man reported vandalism of a building on the 700 block of South Fourth Street.
  • At 11:01 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on the corner of North Fourth Street and East Martinez Avenue. A man was arrested and taken to the QCDC.
  • At 6:08 p.m., an alarm was reported at a business on the 500 block of West Railroad Avenue. An officer advised all was OK.
  • At 11:52 a.m., a man reported a burglary at a residence on the 100 block of West Crutcher Avenue.
