Russell's Truck and Travel Center, I-40 at Exit 369 in Glenrio. Russell's will be having their 2nd Annual Car Show on May 18 at 10 a.m.. Grab the Gold Ranch Rodeo at the Curry County Events Center, 1900 East Brady Street in Clovis. Advance tickets may be purchased at Joe's Boot Shop at 2600 Mabry Drive. Advance tickets are $12 and tickets at the gate are $15. Children 12 and under are free. Rodeo will be held on April 19 at 7 p.m. and on April 20 at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. After the rodeo you can dance to the Bakersfield Twang Band.

Las Vegas National Wildlife Refuge, 6 miles Southeast of Las Vegas. Visitors Center is on I-25 at Exit 345, then East on State Highway 104 for 1.5 miles then South on State Highway 281 for 4 miles.
