The 11-4 San Jon Coyotes face the 5-13 Broncos Thursday at Floyd.
The Coyotes are coming off a narrow 55-54 win over the 10-6 Quemado Eagles Saturday at San Jon.
Trailing throughout most of the game, the Coyotes managed to gain a single point lead in the closing seconds of final period and hold on for the win.
The Broncos lost Friday, 72-36, to the Longhorns for Logan's Homecoming.
The 3-9 Lady Coyotes will be heading into Floyd off the momentum of Saturday's 36-29 win over the Quemado Lady Eagles.
The 10-7 Lady Broncos will be looking to bounce back after a 57-45 loss Friday to the Lady Longhorns.
"We just could not get the ball to fall," said Adam Terry, Lady Broncos head coach.
Terry said the team rebounded aggressively and played exactly as they have all season. He said the team's percentage from the free throw line was a factor.
"We were getting the chances to shoot, we just didn't make the shots," Terry said. "We were 21 percent from the line and lost by 12."
Terry said the Lady Longhorns are a good team and simple mental mistakes cause them to struggle.
