Elected officials were sworn in Jan. 2 at the courthouse in the 10th Judicial District courtroom by Judge Albert J. Mitchell.
Those taking the path included Tim Rose, newly elected district attorney, and his staff along with county commissioners, the county clerk and staff, the county treasurer and staff and the probate judge.
Rose said he was very excited and was ready to start work. He said he was happy with the changes they were making in the office with some very needed remodeling that is being done.
Mike Cherry said he was looking forward to starting his new job as county commissioner on Jan. 14.
