Radio station sponsors Christmas reading

CKTNM/KQAY radio sponsored "Twas the night before Christmas" at theconvention center on Friday with approximately 60 children and parents attending.

All of the kids and parents enjoyed the reading of this special story by Kevin Mueller.

The children were excited to see Santa and to get their picture taken with him. The kids were given Christmas presents of baby dolls, trucks, stuffed animals and toys.

Everyone was treated to drinks, pizza and cookies.

Radio station spokesman Charlie Morrison said he was very pleased with the turn out.

He said when they first started signing kids there was 20 registered for the event, over a weeks time they had 30 kids and in the past few days of the event the number had double to 60. All who attended the program had a great time and enjoyed being a part of the event.
