Kindergarten through fifth-grade students held a contest at the elementary school to see which class could collect the most canned and dry goods to be donated to the Ministry of Hope.

Doyle Frasier of Ministry of Hope said he was very surprised at the amount of goods that the children collected and that is was a wonderful job the children did to help out where they could.
Reba O'Riley, a volunteer at Ministry of Hope, said there was lots of food collected and that it is nice the community comes together and helps out where they can. She said everything that is done to help is greatly appreciated.
