Animal hospital fundraiser planned
Tucumcari Olympics, a fundraiser to help the Tucumcari Animal Hospital, will be held on at noon on Oct. 20, at Dunn's park. Teams of six can register for $20 to compete in games including tug of war, horse shoe toss, egg run, water balloon toss and much more.

Group warns of sign thieves
The Quay County Republicans are asking the community to be on the look out for political sign thieves.
Bill Menges, head of the QCR, said several signs have been stolen along First and Third streets.
Menges said if the person or persons who took the signs would return them or contact the police department and tell them where they are, no charges will be pressed.
