Foul play suspected in woman's disappearance

New Mexico State Police say they suspect foul play in the disappearance of Kimberly Draman, 53, of Tucumcari, missing since Sept. 13.

Lt. Matt Broom declined to discuss details Tuesday regarding the suspicions of investigating officers. He did say investigators haven't received any tips and he renewed an appeal to the public for help in the case.

Draman was last seen in the company of Frank Keller, 45, of Tucumcari, according to Broom.

Broom said Keller hasn't been charged in connection with Draman's disappearance.

Keller, a convicted sex offender and accused methamphetamine user, was arrested Sept. 18 driving Draman's car in Las Vegas, Nev., police said.

Broom said investigators have confirmed Keller and Draman were casual friends.

Broom said Keller is being held in Clark County, Nev., jail on an unspecified drug possession charge.

A warrant and a hold were also issued Monday in 10th Judicial District Court in Tucumcari against Keller relating to a previous drug charge. He is accused of violating terms of his bond release from Quay County jail on a March felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, according to Broom.

The New Mexico Courts website indicates the bond violation charge against Keller specifies an $80,000 cash-only bond and the district attorney will extradite nationwide.

Keller is a registered sex offender, convicted in 2005 in Albuquerque on two counts of felony criminal sexual penetration, according to Broom.
