Friday afternoon story time for the children.
From opening day there was a noticeable increase of people during the day and night, said Brenda Bishop, Quay County Extension Agent.
Bishop said the younger crowd was pleased to have the midway back, which in turn meant more parents would be attending as well. She said the vendors in the exhibit hall were very pleased.
Bishop said this year's fair went wonderful, even the midway's company Sun Valley entertainment was pleased with the fair's attendance. She said as always there was a high number of people who entered items into the fair.
Bishop said the fair results will be made available as they are compiled.
