Nine Senior Quay County 4-Hers attended the state 4-H conference July 9-13 in Las Cruces. During the week they participated in leadership workshops, elected new state officers, and competed in a variety of contests. Senior members are ages 14-19.

The Home Economics Bowl team of Taylor Hayes, Wyatt Bishop, Aleahna Branch, and Dillon Massey placed first.
The Entomology Team of Randall Rush, Bethany Bishop, Taylor Hayes, and Ashlee Bradley placed first. Randall Rush was high point individual, Bethany Bishop was third high individual, and Taylor Hayes was fifth high individual.
Taylor Hayes was high point individual in Horticulture.
The Land Team of Randall Rush, Bethany Bishop, Cody Massey, and Ashlee Bradley placed fourth.
Taylor Hayes was second high individual in Home Economics Skill-a-thon.
Ashlee Bradley was fifth high individual in Wool.
Bethany Bishop submitted a record book covering her 4-H career and received a $500 scholarship and won a trip to 4-H Congress in Atlanta.
