New Mexico State Police divers recovered the body of 45-year-old Albuquerque man believed drowned Saturday afternoon at Conchas Lake.
Lt. Lance Bateman of the state police said divers recovered the body of the man at 5:10 p.m., in 12 feet of water. He said the identity of the man is being with held pending notification of the family.
Bateman said at 12:15 p.m., officers received a call on a possible drowning.
Officers were told by friends of the man that he was swimming off with friends and did not resurface after going under water.
Dive teams searched the east side of the lake near the south shore.
On Tuesday, Griffen Walter 15, of Sandia Park drowned at Conchas Lake after diving off of his family's fishing boat, according to state police.
Walter's body was recovered in approximately 13 feet of water.
