Rattlers, Longhorns to play at state

The Tucumcari Rattlers and Logan Longhorns will compete in the first rounds of the 1A and 2A state baseball tournament.

The (13-8) Rattlers are the 8 seed in the 2A tournament and will host the 9 seed (15-9) New Mexico Military Institute Colts Wednesday at 4:30 p.m., at Tucumcari.

The (9-12) Longhorns are the 8 seed in the 1A tournament and will travel to play the 1 seed (14-5) Capitan Tigers Wednesday at 3 p.m., at Capitan.
