Serving the High Plains
A new primary care clinic serving Tucumcari and Quay County holds its grand opening celebration Thursday at the Dan C. Trigg Memorial Hospital.
Presbyterian Medical Group will host an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:30 p.m., which initiates the expansion of rural clinic services for Tucumcari and the surrounding communities.
"We look forward to the expansion of the high quality of services from Presbyterian medical services," said Bill Curry, Quay County Commission chair.
The Presbyterian Medical Group is located in the former Quay County Health Officers at 402 East Miel del Luna, adjacent to the hospital building.
The Presbyterian Medical Group at Dan C. Trigg Memorial Hospital is staffed by the Practice Administrator; Suraj Agboke, three physicians; Darrel Willis, Jani Kothalanka and Karen Raburn, as well as clinic support staff including nurses and clerical employees.
"We're committed to improving the health of those we serve," Agboke said. "This facility and it's services will provide residents with access to healthcare thus providing a valuable safety net for Quay County,"
Agboke said the Presbyterian Medical Group at Dan C. Trigg Memorial Hospital will be open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays.
