Mesalands will hold annual Cinco de Mayo event at the North American Wind Research and Training Center.
The college will hold their annual Cinco de Mayo celebration on Thursday, starting at 5:30 p.m., at the North American Wind Research and Training Center. The event has previously been held in the college's parking lot.
The celebration will include performances by Reynaldo Maestas and Ernestine Romero, the 2012 New Mexico Hispanic Female Vocalist of the Year. There will also be pinatas, face painting, free popcorn, horse rides for the kids, and many other activities for all ages. There is no gate charge, but some activities will have a nominal charge.
