Serving the High Plains
The Quay County will honor their 4-H parents, leaders and volunteers on Monday with a social from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the Extension Office at 216 East Center Street.
4-H is celebrating its 100 years in New Mexico and April 15 – 21 is Volunteer Appreciation Week. The Quay County 4-H Council chose this week to also show their appreciation for the 4-H volunteers from the past to the present in Quay County.
Everyone is invited to stop by the Extension Office and share refreshments and 4-H experiences between these hours.
Quay County is also excited to honor Brenda Bishop at this same time as she was recently chosen as Outstanding 4-H Agent of New Mexico.
