"Hitman," by Howie Carr. The untold story of Johnny Martorano: Whitey Bulger's enforcer and the most feared gangster in the underworld.

Memorials

"Butterfly Kisses and Wishes on Wings: When Someone You Love Has Cancer," by Ellen McVicker. A hopeful, helpful book for kids. Given in memory of Amy Sandoval by the Tucumcari Public Library Staff.

"The Way I Feel," by Janan Cain. The zany characters who sniffle, soar and shriek through this book will help kids understand the concept of such emotions as joy, disappointment, boredom and anger. Given in memory of Amy Sandoval by Altrusa.
