Dan C. Trigg Memorial Hospital has announced Suraj Agboke has joined the hospital-based primary clinic as the practice administrator.
“We're pleased to have Suraj's expertise as a part of our team. His experience will help us expand clinic services and recruit providers,” said Lance Labine, Administrator for DCT.
Agboke replaces Johnlyn “K” Grose, who transferred within the hospital to become operating room director.
“K did an outstanding job for the primary care clinic in addition to her nursing duties,” said Labine. “We're very fortunate to have such high-caliber staff in place that is willing and capable of taking on additional responsibilities when needed,” Labine added.
Agboke comes to DCT from Albuquerque, where he provided consultant services for SOA Healthcare Financial Management Services to various hospitals, clinics and physician groups. He has also worked in Raton and Gallup as well as in Texas, Louisiana and South Carolina
“I'm looking forward to serving the residents of Tucumcari, Quay County and the surrounding communities and understand how our providers can best meet the community's needs,” said Agboke.
Agboke was a United States Army Reservist from 1988 through 1995 and was honorably discharged. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas.
“We're looking to Suraj's leadership, expertise and process management skills as Trigg Hospital implements more technology throughout patient encounters,” said Labine.
Presbyterian Healthcare Services was founded in New Mexico in 1908, and is the state's only private, not-for-profit healthcare system. Trigg is one of eight hospitals under the Presbyterian umbrella.
