The Tucumcari Rattlers swept the East Mountain High Timberwolves Tuesday at Sandia Park.
A 39-point run by the Rattlers (8-4) in the third period after a tied first half led to an 89-41 win over the Timbewolves (5-5).
The Timberwolves turned the ball over 10 times in the second half which allowed the potent Rattlers offense to extend the gap.
The Lady Rattlers' defense kept the Lady Timberwolves (1-11) in check as they won 49-27. Despite early foul trouble for the team the Lady Rattlers (3-7) led 32-10 at the half. Applying a full courtpress the Lady Rattlers kept the Lady Timberwolves offense out of synch.
The Rattlers next game will be at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday at Robertson (6-6).
The Lady Rattlers next game will be at 7 p.m. Thursday against Pecos (9-5). On Friday the Rattlers will celebrate homecoming hosting the Logan Longhorns (11-3) and Lady Longhorns (12-3).
