In Texas, 1,008 are out in Amarillo, but we're about to restore about 200 in the Estacado area. In New Mexico, most of the outages are in Clovis. We've had approximately 4,000 impacted by this storm since 8 p.m. Sunday. Visibility is improving in our New Mexico territory and restoration efforts are starting to gain momentum. Monday's snowfall has forced the rescheduling of the 2A and 1A district tournaments for the Tucumcari Rattlers and Logan Longhorn's basketball teams. The Tucumcari Rattlers and Lady Rattlers will play a double header in district 2 2A starting at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday at the Snake Pit. The snow Tucumcari and Quay County has ended -- for now. Another storm system will move into the area late Tuesday afternoon, with a chance of slight dusting of snowfall for Tucumcari and less than an inch for Logan, said Tim Shy, senior forecaster National Weather Service Albuquerque. Interstate 40 eastbound from Albuquerque to Amarillo was reopened at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday after being closed on Monday from heavy snowfall.
