A DWI charge against a Tucumcari municipal judge has been dismissed due to the lack of probable cause for the traffic stop in February that led to his arrest by New Mexico State Police. Quay County commissioners said the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s predator damage management services have been a good investment, protecting an estimated 3,200 head of livestock worth more than $1 million in 2017. Residents may have heard the testing of three new warning sirens Tuesday morning as crews work to bring the system online before storm season.
