    Rehabilitation services for people convicted of a DWI in Quay County have improved with two new additions to the planning council and the installation of ignition interlock devices. Quay County DWI Coordinator Bryan Rinestine requested that Quay County commissioners approve the additions to the DWI Planning Council Monday during their regular meeting.     Many factors will have to be addressed before the recent legislation signed into law, requiring all law enforcement officers in the state to carry the overdose antidote drug, Naloxone, can come into play, said Quay County Sheriff Russell Shafer. Shafer was asked during Monday’s county commission meeting how the department was going to adjust to the recent legislation signed into law on April 6 by Gov. Susana Martinez.     Although there is no physical evidence linking a series of vandalism to local homes, the Tucumcari Police Department is advising residents to be vigilant. At 2:28 a.m. on March 5, an unknown number of subjects cut the power to a residence on the 2000 block of South 11th Street then kicked in the rear door, said Sgt. Patricia Lopez.     All but one of 17 missing firearms have been located or cleared from the evidence and property logs of the Tucumcari Police Department, according to City Manager Jared Langenegger. In February, Langenegger issued a report from an inventory conducted by an outside consultant that revealed there were 17 firearms from nine criminal cases that were unaccounted for on TPD’s evidence and property log.
