    Tucumcari Middle School is holding its annual book fair until Nov. 6 at the book store.     Tucumcari city commission is considering holding town hall meetings to encourage more community involvement. Commissioner Daniel Lopez expressed his concerns Thursday. Lopez said the commission should consider holding town hall meetings. The commission approved a Lodgers Tax Board request for $35,000 to fund the Tucumcari Today and Tonight advertising campaigns.   • Tucumcari woman killed in rollover in Harding County

    A Tucumcari woman died in a single vehicle roll over Wednesday morning in Harding County, said Harding County Sheriff Herman Martinez. Killed in the crash reported at 8:45 a.m. was Audrey Molinas, 45. She was ejected from a pickup truck driven by Danny Barboa, said Martinez. Martinez said the crash happened near mile marker 8.4 on Rosebud Road. Molinas was pronounced dead at the scene.     Emergency personnel and police officials still have few answers to the circumstances which led to 14-year-old Alex Jauck having to be rescued from Tucumcari Mountain. Scott Jaynes, emergency manager with the city of Tucumcari said they received a call from dispatch around 10 a.m. Monday morning regarding Jauck being stranded on the side of the mountain.     An open house was held Tuesday at the Quay County Medical at 220 South Third. Fran Sandoval said that the clinic has now gone all digital in the exam rooms so staff is able to communicate better with each other.     Ellen White, county clerk and Danny Wallace were busy on Thursday afternoon certifying the early and absentee voting machines for the upcoming November election. White said that early voting will begin on Oct. 10. It will run Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. staying open during the noon hour.   • Teen rescued from Tucumcari Mountain

    Emergency workers rescued a Tucumcari teenager Monday afternoon from a narrow ledge on the face of Tucumcari Mountain.     On Monday a community came together at the Quay County Fair Barn to help fill "Care Bags" for those people who are going through treatments for cancer and other devastating disease.
