Shootout slated for Saturday

Quay County 4-H is sponsoring a pay to play 3-D Archery Shoot at 5 mile Park west of Tucumcari Saturday. 

Shooters begin at 8 a.m. All cards must be in by 1 p.m.  The fee is $5 per shooter for at least 20 targets twice.  No prizes. 

Participants are asked to bring their own snack and chair.

A raffle of a new 3-D target will be held during the shoot. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5.

All proceeds go to the Quay County 4-H Shooting Sports Programs.

Daycare gets capacity bump approved

Mission Preschool/Daycare  in Tucumcari has recently been granted a license allowing an increase in capacity of up to 24 Children.

Mission Preschool is a non-denominational, Christian-based center entering its fifth year in business.
