Services: 7 p.m., Thursday a rosary will be recited at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Tucumcari. At 10 a.m., Friday a mass of rescurection will be celebrated at St. Anne's. Jessie Robert Trujillo, 58, died suddenly on Saturday, April 21, 2007, at his home in Cortez, Colo. Jessie Robert Trujillo was born Oct. 15, 1948 in Del Norte, Colo. He was employed by Red Burn Tire Company in Cortez. He graduated from the Battle Mountain High School in Minturn, Colo. He served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam conflict. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2528 of Tucumcari. He loved fishing, hunting and playing at the casino, his family said. Surviving Mr. Trujillo is his wife ,Alfrieda of Cortez, two sons: Luke Trujillo and Brian Trujillo both of Denver, and his granddaughter Samantha Patterson also of Denver Colorado. Also surviving are seven brothers, Ray (Emily) Trujillo of Gypsum, Colo., Phillip (Pearl) Trujillo, Edward (Belinda) Trujillo and Manuel Trujillo all of Tucumcari, Vincent (Julia) Trujillo of Espanola, N.M., Eugene (Gloria) Trujillo of Clovis, N.M. and Jeremy Chavez, five sisters: Mary Jane (Victor) Diaz and Emily (Amador) Jaramillo, all of Amarillo, Texas, Maxine Trujillo and Theresa Cordova, both of Tucumcari and Rosalia (Roy) Stewart of Cortez, Colorado. He is also survived by his aunt, Mary Rivera of Tucumcari. He was preceded in death by his father, John Frank Trujillo, and by two brothers, John and Manuel Trujillo. Leo Padget will be the celebrant at the services. Pallbearers will be Ray and Adam Trujillo, Jimmy Chavez, Gabriel Cordova, Joey Trujillo, Felice Cepeda, Jeannea Jaramillo, Chris Wallace, and Louis Trujillo. Remaining nephews and nieces will serve as honorary pallbearers. Burial will be at the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home.
