Services: 10 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church of Logan. Mary Virginia “Ginger” Smith, 75, of Logan died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007, at Trigg Memorial Hospital. Mary Virginia (Ginger) Smith was born Nov. 23, 1931 in Atoka, Okla. She was a long time resident of Logan where she was a member of the Logan Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Smith was also president of Versa-Tech Corp. and vice president of the Versatile Construction Co. Surviving Mrs. Smith are: her husband, Jean Smith Jr of Logan; four daughters Denise (Darrell) Roberts and Priscilla (Perry) Hazen, both of Mountainair, and Charlene Rupe and Cinda (Don) Barber, both of Logan; two sons, Faris (Glenna) Smith and Dean Smithall of Logan; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Frances Rupe and by one grandson Jeffrey Smith. Darrell Roberts and Merle Lindsey will officiate at the services.. Burial will be at the Logan Cemetery at Logan. Pallbearers will be Dwayne Roberts, Sheldon Roberts, Clinton Smith, Jeremy Smith, Josh Barber, Jerrick Smith, Seth Barber, Isaac Hazen. Honorary Pall bearers will be Kama Saieh, Perry Hazen, Johnny Sanchez, Don Barber, Rick Ragland, Darrell Roberts and Ronnie Ragland.
