Services: At 2:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Dunn Memorial Chapel in Tucumcari. Margaret Wieland, 95, died at her residence in Tucumcari on Tuesday, Oct. 9 2007. following an extended illness. Mrs. Wieland was born Aug. 27, 1912 at Forrest. She attended and graduated from the Forrest School system. She went on to attend and graduate from New Mexico State University with a degree in music. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Tucumcari. She along with her husband, Robert, operated Fina stations in Tucumcari, Clayton and Raton. They also operated the Goodyear Tire Shop here in Tucumcari. For a number of years she also operated the Gray Hound Bus Station in Tucumcari.. Surviving Margaret Wieland is her grandson Don (Karen) English of Dallas, Texas,. her granddaughter Lisa (Tom) Butts of Tampa, Fla., and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Wieland in 1981 and by her son Frank English in March 2007 and by her brother Charles Magruder. Jim Witcher, minister of the First Christian Church, will officiate at the services. Burial will follow at the family plot at the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari.
