Services: At 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, at 424 South Monroe St., Tucumcari. Benino Aguilera, 86, of Clovis, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007 at Clovis Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Clovis. Mr. Aguilera was born Feb. 13, 1921 to Faustino Aguilera and Eloisa Martinez Aguilera in Hooker, Okla. In 1959, he married Felipita Crespin in Roswell and they moved shortly after to Tucumcari . He was a member of the American Legion in Logan. Mr. Aguilera enjoyed music, making different projects, reading the Bible, and dancing. Survivors include his wife Felipita Aguilera of Clovis a son, James Timothy (Valerie) Aguilera of Logan; three daughters, Susie (James) Lott of Tucumcari, Yolanda (Agustin) Aguilera of Tucumcari, and Jeanette (Manuel) Avila of Albuquerque; a sister, Beatrice Lucero of Tucumcari; five step children, Victor Cordova, Lupe Vigil, Ramon Gonzales, Virginia Reyes, and Liz Martinez; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Faustino and Eloisa Aguilera; two brothers, Celso Aguilera and Ramon Aguilera; and two sisters, Cruz Flores, and Elenor Almiraz. Dale Cordova will officiate at the service. Burial will follow at the Mennonite Cemetery in Tucumcari. Pallbearers include Lawrence Lucero, Steven Salas, Ronnie Lucero, James Lott III, Ramon Aguilera, Ronnie Lucero, Mannie Avila, Andrew Aguilera, Mezial Flores, and James Lott, Jr. Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
